Simple Present Tense
Simple Present Tense is a tense that use to talk about things in general. We are not thinking only about the present. We use it to say that something happens all the time or repeatedly, or that something is true in general.
The Formula:
(+) S + V1 + s, es + O
(-) S + DO/DOES + NOT + O
(?) DO/DOES + S + V1 + O
Notes :
I, You, We, They use Do
She, He, It use Does
Time signal:
Today, Every day, Every week, Every year, etc.
Simple Present Tense is also using Adverb of Frequency
Such as : Always, Often, Sometimes, Rarely, Never.
Examples:
1. (+) I study English Every day
(-) I do not (don't) study English Every day
(?) Do I Study English Every day?
2. (+) She washes dish after dinner
(-) She doesn't wash dish after dinner
(?) Does She wash dish after dinner?
3. (+) Cat eats Whiskas today
(-) Cat doesn't eat Whiskas today
(?) Does Cat eat Whiskas today?
The short Paragraph using simple Present Tense
They go for a picnic together. They go for a picnic by bus. Before they go, they prepare several necessities such as Snacks, coffee and the other. In the bus, they sing a song together. The song is Never say Never from Justin Bieber and Jaden. After one hour, they arrive in that place. They spread the mat and sit in it. They spend time together by talk a lot of stories and also eat the snacks and drink the coffee. Because the view around them is so beautiful, they take a lot of pictures together. They also play many songs, and they sing the songs and laugh together. Most of the songs that they play is Justin Bieber ’songs. Of course, because they are Biebers or Justin Bieber’s fans club. They like Justin so much. After spend time together, they go back to their home. They say that this day is one of the best days in their life.
